Komitas (named after the Armenian composer) the first armenian amateur Choir has been established by musicologist and choir conductor Anahit Mughnetsyan with Armenians living in Denmark in 2022 in Copenhagen. The aim is to keep and share an Armenian folk and classical singing culture in Denmark.

Repertoire is very rich from hymns to folk and classical from different epochs. As a first nation who accepted officially Christianity hymns are part of Armenian singing culture since 301 AC. Most of the melodies are thousands years old.
